Ginger has long been used as a potent ant-inflammatory. I use it regularly to give dishes a zesty punchy. A little goes a long way!

There is little competition when it comes to fresh ginger or dried ginger. The flavour of fresh ginger is unparalleled, and more importantly, fresh ginger contains higher levels of anti-inflammatory compounds, gingerol and the active protease.

Widely used to aid digestive issues, ginger may also help with cramps.
